fuck yeah!

This is fucking hard!

superuberinsaneausm responds:

FUCK YES!!!!!

Like it like it

Melodies rhythm its solid. The harmonies are on. That pad is niiiiice.

Sawdust responds:

Thanks man!

this is hard

Nice job on this, its gets dirtier the second time around.

Out on the table, I don't know shit about dubstep, but the track stays solid and on the ground even when the melodies and twinkling riffs come in.

You Always Left Me Satisfied and Smiling

I am for this track. Slick job.

Surprisingly organic. Nice mix. Praise for your effects work. Danceable and pretty.

I can't shake the feeling we'll be seeing great things to come from you [;

Actual music, but it was just looped.

I guess since it is a loop, I should rate is as one. But most loops have more than one bar with slight variations, I an the melodies weren't very catchy or complex, so that could also take work.

My best advice, is patience and effort.

aod3 responds:

Yeah, right now i'm just messing around and i absolutely love how the boo bass sounds.

I dunno what it is about it.

I think the bass is catchy, lol but whatever.

Frankly dude, I can't give this a good score. All it was, percussion. Not even interesting percussion, just repetitive.

But, really I have no room to talk. I did the same thing when I originally started. I deleted 'em all when I could :P

So maybe add some melody instruments and transition on your next submission.

aod3 responds:

I didn't wanna add instruments because i wanna put guitar over it and i can't record guitar right now.

This was just a test of whether or not i could pick up drums by ear, not so much a venture into actually making my own music.

I'm not so big on trance, so maybe I'm not one to review this song. But, I'm sorry to say but this just did not deliver for me.

The simplistic intro, lasted way too long. Even cutting it by 15 seconds would have helped it. Extra synth beats would have made the lead not seem so, awkward.

Then as the song progressed, and that trancy synth came in, I started getting down to this. Expecting to blast into bouncy trance song, I was wrong. Not that it's a bad thing, but it seemed a little odd & out of place.

During the 2-3 min mark, I started to get into it, but as we got closer to the 3 min part, the synth seemed to get more, unorganized and awkward. The ending was quite bizzare as well, again awkward, and unorganized, but also adding forced into the mix.

So it didn't seem as much of a song as it did an experiment.

Pretty much the truth. I wouldn't really call this true trance music, but I guess it's sorta close. That's why I put it under Trance. Maybe I'll make something like this again, and I'll defiantly take what you said into consideration.

This took me a long time to review, sorry! I don't foresee this review being that great either, so double sorry!

It's just one of those submissions that really "wows" you, y'know? I've listened to this song ten times, and I cannot find a single flaw.

Woodwind/Hand bell intro ensemble really grabbed me, and honestly, got me anxious for the rest of the song, which is not something that is easy to do. Your transition were actually seamless, all the ambient background instruments aided the front runners perfectly without being repetitive.

Maybe I'm bad at reviewing, but perfection is hard to explain.

Fuoco responds:

There's nothing to be sorry, my good man!
For a free review this made my day, I'm happy that you liked it this much.
It truly means a lot, being able to keep people anxious is something every audio artist wants to achieve.
Woodwinds are my favorite instrument :), I'm working on a piece for flute this time. I'm not sure how it'll turn out, but make sure to check it out!

Thanks for your time Joey, this is a lovely review.
Oh, and thanks for the five ;)

None of the notes worked with each other, well y'know the ones I could make out. The file is way too loud, the distortion is so muddy you really can't make out anything, and the drums are the final nail in the grave.

But you get a 1/10 for the name.

Misdemonar responds:

lol ;<

The first thing noticed, was shit this is loud.

I'm really diggin' the drums. Its dynamic unlike most submissions, but not so that is just an assortment of ADHD percussion.

The main melody, would be the ultimate piece for a battle scene or menu of a Final Fantasy -esque game.

So the main off put on this piece, is how loud it is, and a teensy bit too treble based. Slap in a little more mids & bass and it'll be pretty awesome.

kaptainkewl responds:

I'm sorry about that, I didn't realize How loud it was, My keyboard voulme was at half notch and nowhere near the full tilt. I was reaallu Impressed with the drums myself, as I stated in my review. I'm trying to figure how to lower the volume. As My speakers barely sowed a hint of the high sound levels. As well Audacity wasn't showing anything near peaking levels. Two things as well (please PM me about this) what Is ADHD percussion and you ruined My perfect 10s :-(.

Thanks for the great review though!
